Trieste, Italy
Self-publication
May 2014
This is a personal project that arises during my academic exchange in the city of Trieste.
I’m a dog lover and when I arrived in the city I discovered a very different way of treating them. They could enter at most of the businesses, supermarkets, hairdressers… something quite different from how they are treated general in Spain, in addition there’s a great variety of different races which made my curiosity and admiration increase.
Inspired by the photographs of Elliott Erwitt, I decided to lose the shame and for a month I went out to the street to portray the dogs of the city, getting to photograph about 60 different.
The project eventually became a self-publishing.
